New York: Doubleday, 1987. First edition. Octavo, original red cloth. Signed by George Bush on the front free endpaper. Fine in a fine dust jacket.         TRUMP: The Art of the Deal (signed)

New York: Random House, 1987. The first edition/first printing of Trump's book on business and deal-making, with a wee bit of self-aggrandizement thrown in. Laid in is a Letter of Authenticity from the company that originally sold this copy, Byron's Hockeyland, Egg Harbor Twp., New Jersey (signature on said letter being, I suspect, of less consequence than Trump's, who is apparently known, in some quarters, as Drumpf). Black cloth w/gold (of course) lettering to spine, gold (of course) facsimile signature to front cover, 246 pages (including index), illustrated. A bit of wear to corners/spine ends, light edgewear, slight discolouration to bottom edges (looks like it might be a little dampstaining), faint edge foxing, in slightly edgeworn, lightly rubbed dust jacket, impressions/thin scratches. Since The Donald's political juggernaut continues to gather steam (which is pretty close to hot air, isn't it?), signed copies of this one have been snapped up pretty regularly. Should the guy actually be elected to the most powerful position in the civilized world, well, one is given pause, isn't one? Dust jacket now safely ensconced in protective mylar sleeve.. Signed by Trump, in blue marker on front end paper. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. Octavo -- from 7.75" to 9.75" Tall.
