The First UK printing published by Secker and Warburg in 1980. The BOOK is in Very Good++ or better condition with just a little light spotting to the text block which has encroached onto two pages. Free from inscriptions. A tiny bump to the lower rear corner. The WRAPPER is complete and is in near fine condition. A 2cm closed tear to the upper front edge with just a very tiny associated rub. Mars & Static Kling
New York: 1980. Condition: Near Fine. Approximate 29 x 17", paste-up pasted down onto a glassine overlay, tipped onto a matte backing onto which is pasted up the artwork for the back cover of the EP; profuse holograph notes and printer instructions in holograph at margins of glassine and matte. Cover matte hinged on, with title in holograph. Some creasing to board and minor wear; near fine. Mars was one of the earliest No Wave projects, formed by Sumner Crane in 1975 under the name China. The band released only one single during their lifetime before breaking up in 1978; this EP, their most significant recording, was released by the band two years later. Despite being short-lived, the band remains one of the most important of the No Wave movement, and appeared on the arbitrarily canonizing No New York EP. The artwork is credited on the official release to the band and to Statik Kling, who also did the great cover art for the Holland River Dive EP.

1980. Condition: Like New. Excellent condition. Front and back covers are in great shape. No marks, writing or underling inside the report itself. Are you a huge Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger fan? If you are, this report is like a delightful walk down memory lane. This listing is for a super rare 1980 Berkshire Hathaway Annual Report. As has often been said, these Berkshire Hathaway annual reports, including the Chairman's Letter written by Warren Buffett, are pure solid gold loaded with investing wisdom. This one is different however. It's so old the address on the back cover isn't Kiewit Plaza in Omaha as we're accustomed to seeing, but 97 Cove Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts. This copy is used but in excellent condition. The front and back covers are in great shape. Inside the report is totally clean with no underlinings, marks or writing on it. No bends and staples are solid! Your best chance to find a copy better than this is probably sitting in a vault in Kiewit Plaza! 56 total pages, which also includes the 1980 annual report letters from Charlie Munger for Blue Chips Stamps (read up on See's Candies, Buffalo Evening News, Precision Steel and Pinkerton's!) and Louis Vincenti for Wesco Financial. Makes an incredible addition to your Berkshire annual report collection. 1980. Book shows light wear to cover but not bad. It's in VERY good shape. Light rip on top that was taped years and years ago. Would rate it a 8/10 overall. Up for sale is an incredible PIECE OF HISTORY! "Swanson on Swanson" The Autobiography of Movie LEGEND Gloria Swanson! FIRST EDITION!! But that's not even the coolest thing about this piece! It is SIGNED and personalized/dedicated BY GLORIA to what appears to be a friend! The original owner of this book clipped out and added a TON of newspaper articles over the years of Swanson AND Kennedy. They are placed in certain sections of the book! It's truly a mini time machine and an amazing slice of American history! Shipping is FREE. [Attributes: First Edition; Signed Copy]

Keizo KITAJIMA
Tokyo: Paroru-sha, 1980. Condition: Near fine in stapled photo-illustrated wrappers. First Edition. Stapled quarto. The third of four volumes of Kitajima's Photo Mail from Okinawa, published to coincide with his shows at the Camp Gallery, founded by Daido Moriyama after the dissolution of Workshop, and predating Kitajima's work in book form. This gritty magazine, published in black and white on glossy paper, shows the evolution of Japanese photography out of the Provoke era. While Kitajima retains some of Provoke's hallmarks, his emphasis is more on people and less on abstraction. Kitajima's images of a seedy Okinawa evoke a Punk or even Hip Hop sensibility, and form the genesis of the New York work for which he is best known. [Attributes: First Edition]
