Robert J. Albo
San Francisco Book Company, Incorporated, 1976. Condition: Very Good. There is a small stain on Volume One - please see photos for details. Also, the plastic book covers have some scratches and tears, but they did ther job well and protected these gems! Other than that they are in very good condition. This is a complete set of Magic books which includes: "The Oriental Magic of the Bambergs" "Classic Magic With Apparatus" "More Classic Magic with Apparatus" These are all first edition books, with a limited run of 1,000 by The San Francisco Book Company. Robert J. Albo Eric C. Lewis David Bamberg These books feature loads of diagrams, great art, color plates and vintage photos of posters. Everything a modern day magician could wish for! But there is more... Ken Stabler - yes, that is correct - NFL Quarterback Ken "The Snake" Stabler - these books were his! I purchased them at his esate sale in Phoenix a few years back. All three books are signed by Robert J. Albo or Bob Albo to Ken, and they are in great vintage condition. I regret having only 12 pictures to show how cool these books are! (But then again, I do not want to include too many pictures of the apparatus and let the secrets out...) Buyer to pay for shipping via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground/Home Delivery within the USA. Please contact seller for an international shipping quote, if needed. Any duty fees or customs charges incurred will be the buyer's responsibility. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]

Choi Kyu-hah to Jimmy Carter's Sister 1980
1976. Used - very good - an excellent tight copy in a good slip cover - slip cover shows some wear and slight smudges from use. Up for Sale: 5,000 Years of Korean Art Publisher: National Museum of Korea Description: Hard copy with slip cover - Illustrated with 218 color plates - 341 Pages Condition: used, very good - an excellent tight copy in a good slip cover - slip cover shows some wear and slight smudges from use. Signed by the President of the Republic of Korea, Choi Kyu-hah Inscribed by the President of the Republic of Korea to Ruth Carter Stapleton (the sister of President Jimmy Carter) **Signature is guaranteed to be authentic - this volume was purchased from the estate of Ruth Carter Stapleton in Fayetteville, North Carolina after her death. Choi is the family name or surname and appears at the end of the signature (as seen in the photo in this listing) in modern Korean culture that has been influenced by the West. In formal or traditional communication in Korea, it is presented in front of the given or first name (as presented in the title of this listing). The signature in this volume does not appear as his signature on Korean documents. On the Korean documents it is most likely the Hangul version of his signature. It is assumed since the recipient spoke English and he was inscribing in English, that he inscribed it in romanized fashion for clear understanding(The romanization of Korean is a system for representing the Korean language using the Latin script). About the late Choi Kyu-hah - Choi Kyu-hah (July 16, 1919 - October 22, 2006) was the fourth President of … [Click Below for Full Description]

Gabriel García Marquez
Harper & Row, Publishers, 1976. First Edition, First Printing. This is a copy of the first U.S. edition, first printing (with number row ending in "5" and "First U.S. Edition" slug present. Subsequent printings removed the "First U.S. Edition" slug). Book Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine in archival protective cover. SIGNED with a lengthy inscription in Spanish by author and Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Marquez on the second blank page. There is no conventional plot, only chronologically scrambled episodes that take the protagonist General from a deformed, charismatic stud into a mindless blood beast, imprisoned on the throne of illusions his very power creates, coming to think of himself as a God and even naming his son Emanuel. The book is a supreme polemic, a spiritual expose of an attack against any society that encourages or even permits the growth of such a monstrosity. SIGNED copies of this title are quite RARE. 1976. All enquiries : A superb work. The Iliade, Homer, translated by the Nobel Literature Prize winner Salvatore Quasimodo, here illustrated by Georgio De Chirico with 26 full colour lithographs, in a precious olive wood box with gilt title, the text in Italian with original Greek text included, the text pages, luxuriously printed on heavy art stock contained in a goatskin folio with a sculptural bas-relief disc on front cover. Rare, said to have be issued by Delfino-Edizoni D' Arte in a Limited Edition of 1500 copies, in Rome, however, far fewer have ever made their way onto the world market, this book is quite scarce according to auction records for the past 40 years since publication - quite possibly fewer than 1500 copies were actually printed. Title in red and black, decorative chapter headings and drawings for each chapter, additional to the 26 paintings made by Georgio De Chirico to illustrate The Iliade. Below are photos of this impressive folio, measuring 50cm X 35cm, the depth of the olive wood box containing the lithographs approx. 5cm, the spine of the goatskin folio containing the text, printed on heavy art paper ( the text papers similar to Arches or Fabriano) is also about 5cm. A beautiful near fine copy, stating near fine due to age, the olive wood boards of the box have slightly separated due to their age, on the base of the box, internally, very minor marginal yellowing. With facsimile 1968 dated inscription by Salvatore Quasimodo. A remarkable work in every aspect. Please see photos. All enquiries: SHIP … [Click Below for Full Description]
