THIS COPY HAS NOT BEEN OPENED. SHOWING ONLY TINY CRACKING OF THE REAR HINGE WHERE THE BUSINESS CARDS OF RUSCHA AND FOSTER WERE KEPT , IT REMAINS ALMOST NEW. MINISCULE WEAR ON CORNERS, SLIGHTEST FADING OF THE SPINE. ALSO, LAID IN IS HIS "BUSINESS" CARD USED FOR GIFT COPIES. IT STATES "COMPLIMENTS OF EDWARD RUSCHA (ED-WERD REW-SHAY YOUNG ARTIST". Ruscha created this artist's book to look like a BIG LITTLE BOOK . It accompanied an exhibition of his prints, drawings and books but is an original artist's book in itself containing two works unique to this book. The first is "EDWARD RUSCHA WORDS" and the second is "TANKS BANKS THANKS". An unusually nice copy considering its fragility [Attributes: Hard Cover]

Ingres and other Parables. John Baldessari 1971.

London. Studio International Publications. 1972. First printing. 30,5 x 26,5 cm. 24 unpaginierte Sx. OKarton. [Vgl.       Peking, 1972. 4pp., on a folded sheet. Large folio. Old folds. Minor wear. Very good plus. In a half morocco and cloth folder. Peking newspaper announcing President Richard Nixon's visit to China, with photographs of Nixon meeting with Mao Tse-tung on the front page. Other headlines note that Henry Kissinger and Premier Chou En-lai also participated in the discussions, and that Premier Chou En- lai hosted a banquet in honor of President and Mrs. Nixon. Nixon's visit was the dramatic breakthrough in formalizing relations with the People's Republic of China, which had not been the case since the triumph of Communist forces in 1948, and was generally regarded as one of his greatest achievements as president.
