London: John Lehmann Ltd, 1950 - Octavo. Original red and white textured cloth, title to spine gilt on brown ground. With the dust jacket designed by John Minton. Ownership annotations to 6 pages, including an index of favoured recipes to the rear free endpaper, and an original recipe for Hollandaise sauce; as the result of attempting David's recipe was "a mass of curds and whey".
