FIRST EDITION 1902, 8vo, 190 x 125 mm, 7½ x 5 inches, blue cloth illustrated white, green, blue and flesh to upper cover and spine, lettered white on upper cover and gilt on spine, black endpapers, 224 pages. 4 full page black and white illustrations and 7 illustrations in the text all by Rackham, other illustrations by 'Rip'. Neatly recased with new matching cloth spine, original backstrip laid on, new rear endpaper. Some surface chipping to white lettering on upper cover, illustration quite badly chipped on upper cover, gilt on spine slightly dull, cloth very slightly faded on spine, small slight stain (15 mm, ¾") in margin on upper cover, bookplate on front pastedown, tissue guard to frontispiece foxed with slight offsetting onto frontispiece (not by Rackham) and title page, otherwise contents nice.
