Model from Vincent
[Los Angeles]: [Walt Disney], [1982]. Original model [9.5cm x 10cm] made of wood, wire and ceramic. This model is comprised of three heads on wire stands, the one on the far right looking like a menacing Mickey Mouse. The other two look like demented, cartoonish versions of Larry and Curly from the three stooges. Vincent was an early short (6 minutes) film by the acclaimed director and cinematic visionary, Tim Burton, and award winning designer Rick Heinrichs. This model appears at the 1:30 mark of the film as the "jacks-in-a-box" This piece from "Vincent" was designed by Tim and made by Rick Heinrichs. Heinrichs is an academy-award-winning production designer. He's done several movies with Burton (winning the Academy Award for Sleepy Hollow) as well as The Big Lebowski, Lemoney Snickett, Pirates of the Caribbean and many others.
