Photogravure frontispieces (portraits and scenes from the plays). Decorative title-pages printed in blue and black. Decorative head-pieces. Designed by Elmer Adler and printed on specially watermarked paper. Original russet buckram with front covers decoratively stamped in gilt and spines decoratively stamped and lettered in gilt. Top edge gilt, others uncut, glassines, original slipcases. A fine set. Eugene O'Neill (1888-1953): one of the greatest American playwrights and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1936.
