Affixed to an 8.75? x 12? studio matte. Undoubtedly taken at Studio G.L. Manuel Frères in Paris shortly after Lindbergh completed his solo transatlantic flight, landing at Le Bourget field on May 21, 1927. Fine condition.Matted with a piece of fabric from ?Spirit of St. Louis,? ½ inch by ½ inch, and four 7.5? x 6? photographs of aviator Lindbergh and two identification plaques. Framed under glass to 39? x 35.5?.Col. Charles A. Lindbergh signed this photograph on June 3, 1927, his last day in Paris. On the morning of June 4, 1927, Lindbergh flew aboard a French army biplane from Le Bourget to Cherbourg, the French port in Normandy where the USS ?Memphis? was docked. His plane, ?Spirit of St. Louis,? was already on the American cruiser, packed in two long wooden crates weighing three tons. At 4:
