Very Good+ hardcover in Fair original dust jacket. Book itself is in very nice shape for its age. Clean pages and sturdy binding. Wear at tips, small wear spot to spine. Light offsetting to ffep from bookmark. Jacket is mylar-protected, has noticeable wear to front panel and spine, sunning to and chips missing from spine panel, small chip in top of front panel and tear at top of back panel. Clear tape on verso attaching panels. Original price intact ($2.50).Key Harlem Renaissance figure Claude McKay's acclaimed novel of jazz-age black life in Marseilles, France. Quite uncommon in its original jacket.
