The satires of Juvenal and Persius in an 18th Century Vellum binding. A lovely copy in an attractive binding. Author information taken from COPAC. With fifteen engraved plates, signed P. S. L. Includes several sheets of handwritten in copperplate notes on the satires. Aulus Persius Flaccus, Volterra, 34-62, was a Roman poet and satirist of Etruscan origin. Condition: The binding is tight and firm. There is some mild wear to the extremities, including some mild edge wear and discolouration. Internally the pages are bright with occasional spots or marks. With a neat ink signature to the front pastedown. Overall the condition is very good..
