The Hart, Buck, Rain Deer, Hare, Wild Rabbit, Ferrit, Fox, Badger, Otter, Squirrel, Marten and Wild Cat, together with Many Curious Particulars relative to these animals and the Manner of Killing them, likewise The Huntsman's Terms of Art; and a Full Account of the Dogs in Use, their usual Names, Training, Feeding, Preservation from Diseases and other things necessary to be known concerning them. To which are added the Modes of Hunting, some particular Foreign Beasts of Sport namely the Wolf, Bear, Wild Boar, Wild Goat, Beaver and Elk. This work was issued with three other titles on sport with a general title page or separately in octavo pamphlet form. 8vo, approximately 205 x 130 mm, 8 x 5 inches. Pages: title page with advert on verso listing the other 3 titles, viii, 1-124, (the 2 advert leaves which should be the last 2 leaves have been bound out of order and placed at the front), rebound in quarter light brown cloth, gilt lettering to spine, marbled boards, new cream endpapers, top edge maroon.
