Contemporary polished tan calf, recently rebacked, twin morocco labels to spine lettered gilt, gilt rules to covers, board edges gilt, turn-ins stamped in blind, marbled endpapers. Minor wear to tips, endpapers replaced, some faint foxing to contents. An excellent set. A handsome set of a later edition of Smith's canonical work, first published in 1776 and still required reading in the age of Malthus, Ricardo, Godwin, et al.
