Four volumes complete - Volume One - xliii [3], 494pp; Volume Two - xx, 535pp, [1]; Volume Three - ccxxviii, 397pp, [1] and Volume Four - xviii, 592pp. Contemporary full calf, raised bands, spines in six panels, morocco title label to second panel, volume label top third, remaining panels with gilt central lozenge and volute corner pieces, covers with gilt double fillet border with tudor rose corners, gilt roll to edges, spot pattern marbled endpapers, all edges marbled. Very slightly rubbed to extremities, internally previous owners' bookplate to front pastedown to three of four volumes, very minor spotting to endpapers, otherwise quite bright and clean. . First Edition. Full Calf. Very Good. 8vo.
