First issue jacket with the heroine's name misspelled, Katharine Barclay instead of Catherine Barkley. {ref: Hannemann A8a, McBride}. Book Condition: Very Good, clean black cloth boards with gold paper labels at the front board and at the spine, minor rubbing at the label on the spine, shelf wear at the edges, lightly paper hinged at the front endpage, minor biopredation at the fore-edge of the first few pages, minor spots throughout, previous owner's decorative bookplate at the front endpaper, two small bumps at the front board. Dust Jacket Condition: Good, wrapped in a new clean removable mylar cover, first issue jacket priced at $2.50 with the misspelled heroine's name at the front flap, jacket split at the spine and held together with a protective mylar cover, darkening at the rear panel, chipping and shelf wear at the edges.
