In a folding half morocco box. A rare privately printed report by the commander of the Plains Country, intended for his officers. Includes Gen. Pope's "Plan of Operations Against the Indians of Dakota and Idaho," and mentions the unsuccessful Powder River Campaign against the Sioux and Cheyenne. Also included is J.F. Meline's "Proposed Regulations for Trade with the Indians." Wagner-Camp locates only two copies (CoD, ICN).
