Illustrated with 50 fine hand-colored aquatint plates depicting the costume of the Austrian Empire. Excellent series of plates illustrating the costumes and ranks of the Austro-Hungarian empire, including representatives of Upper Austria, Tyrolia, Hungary, Bohemia, Moravia, Sclavonia, Dalmatia, Transylvania, Bukowina, etc., as well as Transylvanian Saxons, Polish Jews, and Greek Priests.
