Chicago: Bryant & Stratton Business College (1917). 1st edition assumed. An early book, perhaps the earliest, by the author of one of the best-selling books of all time, THINK AND GROW RICH. We found no record of this title, which is copyrighted in 1917, and presumably published that year. Not listed in OCLC. 90 pages of text by Hill, including one chapter containing a form letter he sent out saying he was completing a manuscript of a volume he was sure would sell hundreds of thousands of copies, and that he was sure the buyers of his volume would appreciate advise from – John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, et al. Apparently they were kind enough to oblige, as their responses, among others, are included herein. As Hill said, "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve." About 7x10" in heavy red wraps with title on front and Hill's take on "SELF-CONFIDENCE" on rear cover. Some repairs to wraps, still a nice copy, housed in clamshell box with leather spine label. Inquire if you need further information.
