Two volumes uniformly bound in quarter leather and marbled boards with matching gilt lettered red leather title pieces within spine compartments; firm, flat, square and tight, showing no splits or snags and very little if any wear; contents very clean and equally tight with strong hinges, and apart from a small neat contemporary owner name at the head of the title-page not showing any pen-marks or inscriptions; also, this set not from a library and so no such stamps or labels; size: 4to (300mm x 240mm); collation: pp. xxviii (includes title-page), 671, [1] blank, and [8] leaves of plates (some folding); pp. v (includes title-page), [3], 342, [2], 336, and [4] leaves of plates. A very presentable set in better than very good condition with very tidy plates.
