Fair. 1764, 1772. Hardcover. Full leather bound cover is in poor condition with half the leather on front board missing. Crudely resewn with thread showing on the exterior along the spine. Boards are warped. Spine is straight. Binding is tight. Lacks the title page, begins with a letter by William Johnston "To Her Most Excellent Majesty Queen Charlotte...." Engraved headpieces. Extensive 18th and 19th century handwritten notes on all blank pages. Pages are toned but overall good condition. This is either the First Edition, 1764 or Second Edition, 1772, both of which are rare. .
