Macdonald, London 1951-1969 A first edition set of Williamson's celebrated semi-autobiographical sequence of fifteen novels which explore the fortunes of one family during the first half of the twentieth century. Original publisher’s cloth. Several top edges lightly spotted and dust marked, with just a faint hint of partial browning to the endpapers of three volumes. An exceptionally crisp and bright set in original James Broom-Lynne-designed dust wrappers, one of which is a little tanned, another lightly chipped and with several short closed tears and a third faded and a little chafed at spine panel. The remainder are in virtually fine state, although four are price-clipped. A really crisp and bright example of an increasingly scarce set - a Burgess Ninety-Nine.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good.
