Serious inquiries only, please. Set weights 7 lbs 10 oz before packing. Shipping at cost. A fair copy only. Several plates lacking but many technical and some pictorial plates and maps remain. Both frontispieces present. Mild wear and numerous superficial insect nibbles to spine cloth and boards of both volumes (mostly spines). A one-pass albeit careful collation (with room for minor error!) shows illustration to page "(a)" of Tome 1 neatly cut out; ten plates and fold-out illustrations also lacking to Tome I: vi, vii, xiv, xvi, xix-xxv (of 25 total); and eight lacking to Tome 2: xxvi-xxvii, xxx-xxxiii, xxxv-xxvi (of 21 "planches" total); pages 417-424 of Tome 1 loose and laid in; same for Tome II, pages 49-56; small tear to outer margin p363, Tome 1. Other minor flaws typical of a work of this age may be present. Some folding maps intact. Both volumes' text block clean with very sparse to light foxing throughout both volumes, chiefly to margins. Appears to lack large folding map of the Pacific Coast. All plates of Tome II, Part 2 "Observations astronomicas y physicas..." appear present. This copy has survived the hands of a breaker and, while lacking plates, remains a tight, clean and quite functional copy of a monumnetal work. Worthy of care and restoration.
