The Lady's Not for Burning: A Comedy
New York: Oxford University Press, 1950. Good. Second edition, revised, second printing. Offsetting on both front and rear endpapers from clippings, a good only copy without dustwrapper. Inscribed by Richard Burton to Tony Award-winning actress Marian Seldes, when they both appeared in the Broadway production of Equus (as Seldes has noted in pencil in her small and precise hand): "Marian with much love and admiration. Richard (Burton)." Burton had appeared in the American production of The Lady's Not for Burning in 1950, (also here noted by Seldes).
