New York: Random House,, 1972. A Colloquy by Gary Carey with Joseph L. Mankiewicz, together with his screenplay, All About Eve. Octavo. Original brown cloth-backed green boards, titles to spine gilt, Mankiewicz's facsimile signature to front cover in metallic green. With the dust jacket. Bookseller's stamp to foot of front free endpaper. Spine gently rolled, slight bumps to ends; a very good bright copy in the jacket with short closed tear to head of front panel, nicks to head of spine and foot of front panel, slight creasing to top edge. First edition, first printing. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper, "To John, Joseph Mankiewicz". Additionally inscribed by All About Eve star Bette Davis on the half-title, "Hello John, glad it's not all about me! Bette Davis". All About Eve was released in 1950 and was nominated for 14 Academy Awards that year, winning six.
