These can both be prints made by old masters (artists) or prints made by others (artists, engravers, etchers) after old masters.Artists and Engravers: Engraved by Cazenave after a design by Louis Gerbo (1761-1818), after an original painting by Jan van Huysum (1682-1749). J.-F. Cazenave (active c. 1770-1800) was a French engraver. Jan van Huysum was a Dutch painter, the son of flower painter Justus van Huysum. He is well known for his landscapes and flower still-lifes. Condition: Excellent, given age. A small crease from the bottom margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. Professionally matted, not examined out of matting. Storage location: DPO16-11 The overall size is ca. 21.7 x 24.4 inch. The image size is ca. 13.8 x 15.7 inch. The overall size is ca. 55 x 62 cm. The image size is ca. 35 x 40 cm.
