These can both be prints made by old masters (artists) or prints made by others (artists, engravers, etchers) after old masters.Artists and Engravers: This plate by Cazenave after a design by Louis Gerbo (1761-1818), after an original painting by Jan van Huysum (1682-1749). J.-F. Cazenave (active c. 1770-1800) was a French engraver. Jan van Huysum was a Dutch painter, the son of flower painter Justus van Huysum. He is well known for his landscapes and flower still-lifes. Storage location: DP-B6-34 The overall size is ca. 14.2 x 16.9 inch. The image size is ca. 13.6 x 15.4 inch. The overall size is ca. 36 x 43 cm. The image size is ca. 34.5 x 39 cm.
