Printed in red and black in Golden type, except for 4 pages printed in Troy and Chaucer type. Woodcut frontispiece by Burne-Jones with tissue guard; errata slip laid in corrected the date of publication of the Kelmscott Chaucer. Full bound in blue levant goatskin, gold tooled and titled by hand; gilded top edge; marbled endpapers and leather hinges; originally issued in holland-backed boards, the printed paper cover has been mounted and bound in at the rear; all housed in custom clamshell box. A finely bound copy of the final work issued from among the most influential private presses. Peterson A53.
