Larned 1128: "This useful work contains a reprint of Hewatt's 'Historical Account of South Carolina' and 16 pamphlets and extracts bearing on the early history of South Carolina." Lacking rear endpapers in volume two; still a very good copy for this title, in its original binding. Original plum cloth (unevenly faded, some soil and staining), paper spine labels (partly eroded).
