London., 1834. from an actual survey made in the years 1832 & 1833. Size: 645 × 810 mm. Steel engraving with original wash colour. Good condition. Some offsetting. A beautifully engraved, elegant map of Buckinghamshire by the brothers Christopher and James Greenwood. Each corner of the map is filled with an exquisite feature. A delightful vignette of Stowe House adornes the lower left corner. There is also an explanation table, compass rose and a numbered reference table to the various county "Hundreds".
