New York: Random House, 1938. First Edition. The usual bleeding of dark glue stains from both the front and the rear endpapers, else a near-fine copy, in a very nice, nearly unworn jacket, with a small neat closed tear bottom front panel, a few very light soil-marks, otherwise an excellent-looking jacket for its age, and with the price unclipped.. First Edition. Inscribed "To Francis/ We're still/ on our way - where?/ Kenneth Fearing" on the front flyleaf. Stated first edition, first printing, with no mention of any further printing on the copyright page. Third collection of poems by the author of the famous noir thriller THE BIG CLOCK. Minor darkening to central front gutter of title- and facing page, probably from a previously laid in press cutting. This book is quite unusual signed or inscribed, and the inscription happens to be an interesting one. 8vo tan cloth.
