In mid 19 c brown calf with blind tooling, light shelf-wear. Contemporary? spine, a little worn, gilt tooling, titles in gilt to red leather label, edges rubbed. Internally, later endpapers, double page title, two double pages of instructions, folding table of distances with sparse outline colouring, 40 (complete, engraved by Jacob van Langeren) hand coloured double page engraved county maps set within triangular mileage tables (including 3 folding), map of England and Wales (engraved by William Kip), with repaired closed tear, map of Shropshire with repaired margins, slight water staining throughout. Another issue, with 4 added folding plates and altered imprint, of the 1635 edition.The print seller John Garrett, took over from Thomas Jenner after his death in 1673.
