Lacking the portrait of Lord Bute, but supplemented by the addition of a portrait of Lord Anson, two naval plates, and a map. Contemporary three-quarter calf and marbled boards, gilt labels. Calf dry and chipping; boards generally worn, especially at spines. Clean internally. Overall very good. A survey history of the French and Indian War, with considerable material on the war in North America and the Caribbean. A long and detailed work, with extracts from original source material and journals of the time.
