The objects of this Association are to bring together for social and intellectual intercourse, the men who were associated with Thomas Edison in the days prior to 1886 in his work of invention and experimentation in the arts and sciences; to revive and perpetuate the memories of those pioneer days; to pay tribute to Mr. Edison's transcendent genius and achievements and to acknowledge the affection and esteem in which we hold him." Unique Edison collectible. Thomas Alva Edison patented over 1000 inventions including the incandescent light bulb, phonograph, mimeograph, microphone and alkaline storage battery.
