Lower half of an Order from the Committee of Public Revenue Warrant Document signed addressed to "Loving friend Thos Fauconbridge Esq - Receiver generall of the Publique Revenue", (Cornelius, fl. 1649, Regicide, Member of Cromwell's Council of State), Sir Henry VANE (The Younger, 1613-1662, Member of Cromwell's Council of State, executed after the Restoration), Nicholas LOVE (1608-1682, Lawyer and Regicide), John TRENCHARD (1586-1662, MP for Wareham, 1640-1653, MP, Commissioner for trial of Charles I)
1610. authorising a payment, with the name Mr Scobell in the bottom left hand corner so presumably he was the payee, and on the verso he has signed "Hen. Scobell", half of 1 side folio, with receipt signed by Hall on the verso, Westminster, together with an engraving of Vane, 21st October Scobell's signature is slightly trimmed Henry SCOBELL (1610-1660) was a Parliamentary official so this order possibly relates to his salary.
