AT DUSK

'The Twins' is about the tragic destiny of twin boys, born during a tempest on the coast of Dalmatia which killed their parents; their visit to a Jewish witch, who correctly sees their fate, avails them nothing, and they die soon thereafter in the sea within minutes of each other." - Robert Eldridge. Not in Bleiler (1948; 1978), Day (1963), or Reginald (1979; 1992). Early owner's signature on dedication page.
