An Experiment with Time
A.C. Black, London, 1927. First UK Edition. Publisher's mid-blue boards with gilt lettering to the spine. Pushing to the spine tips, a couple of bumps to the boards, offsetting to both sets of end-papers and foxing to the top edge (and to a lesser extent the fore-edge) still VG indeed. In the VERY RARE VG++ D/W priced 8/6 net to the inside flap (as called for). The D/W is complete with just a hint of creasing at the spine tips. Formerly the property of Sir Oliver Lodge with his pencil name and address details on the front free end-paper. Sir Oliver Joseph Lodge (1851-1940) was a world-renowned British physicist.
