Early ink signature of Cath Watts at the head of the title-page and on a repaired free end paper. With "An Account of the Life & Writings of Mr. Abraham Cowley Written to Mr. M. Clifford" by T. Sprat [Thomas Sprat, 1635-1713]. Collated and complete according to the British Library copy: [44], 41, [1], 80, [4], 58, 61-70, 154, 23, [1], 148 p. : portrait. "The mistress", "Pindarique odes", and "Davideis, a sacred poem" each have separate dated title page and pagination; register is continuous. 1, a4-c4, B4-Z4, Aa4-Zz4, Aaa4-Ccc4, Ddd2, A4-S4, T2. Aaa has a burn hole which impacts the text.
