London: Heinemann, 1911. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition First Impression. First edition in book form and the first Charles Robinson edition, first printing. Publisher's original green cloth with gilt titles and decoration to the upper board and spine, in the original D/W (priced 6/- net to the spine (as called for). The first issue of the D/W can be identified by the publication date on the front panel (1911) and the price of 6/- to the spine. Illustrated with 8 full page colour plates by Charles Robinson. An attractive very good or better copy, the binding clean and the gilt very bright. There is a 1911 previous owner's ink inscription to the blank reverse of the front free endpaper and a little spotting to the margins and page edges. Complete with the original first issue pictorial D/W which is rubbed and nicked but is clean and attractive. There are several small chips to the spine tips and to the top edge of the upper and lower panels not affecting the lettering or illustration.
