Hardcover / Contemporary half morocco with gilt ornament an lettering on spine and titled/dated label to front board. The beautiful binding of this rare collection with some stronger signs of wear but still beautiful. Endpaper slightly fingerstained and browned. Corners a little stronger rubbed. All the scores / sheetmusic in very good or even better condition. Only the first score with faded smaller dampstain and the last score (Matthew Locke - Macbeth) with some wormhole-damage to the lower corners and some abrasion and tear to one page. Includes for example the following essays:
