SIGNED "To Mary / Andy Warhol / shares alot AW" with a drawing of his iconic Campbell Soup Can encouraging "Campbell / Love Soup" all in black marker. 8.25" x 5.5". pp. 5-241. Small shear at the base of ffe, clean and tight, no other defects noted. DJ has light, insignificant wear to front corners and base of spine. Provenance: Signed to Mary Pettus, who organized a welcome party for the new curator of the Corcoran Gallery, Jane Livingston in 1975. Her concept for the party was centered around inviting Andy Warhol who had recently released the book. At the end of the evening Warhol signed Pettus' book in this unique style. "Can't I deduct liquor if I have to get high to talk and talking's my business?" (p 135).
