Chestnut cloth backed color pictorial glazed paper covered boards with light rubbing to the bottom edges, tiny touches of wear to the corners, and an area of light stain at the bottom edge of both the front and back cover for what is otherwise an extremely bright and clean copy of the book. Swan motif endpapers with minor darkening to FFEP and RFEP. 66 pp. The book, written in verse by Bertha Upton, chronicles Golliwogg's and the Dutch doll's fox-hunt adventure; illustrated by Florence K. Upton, Bertha's daughter, with thirty-one wonderful full page chromolithographs, including one double-page drawing of Golliwogg hot on the trail of a fox with the rest of the dolls following closely behind, plus numerous sepia drawings within text; internally the book is fine.
