St. Louis, Missouri and environs: Various, including Arteaga Photos, [ca. 1950's-1980's]. About 280 black and white photographs. Most single weight prints, all approximately 8" x 10." Spread across two binders with typed index sheets in front. Original, plain commercial binders worn and defective, replaced by us with new, archival, dust-proof models with contents inserted into new archival sleeves(with original ordering maintained). Prints frequently with typed labels adhered over image areas, punch holes at margins, and mild, occasional curling about edges from previous storage against inner rings of original binders. Still, group well preserved overall and solidly about very good. With about a dozen printed advertising testimonials for the firm's building designs laid-in additional. A substantial archive of mid-20th Century American architectural photography: the company file photographs of Ladue Supply, Inc., a commercial building firm based in suburban St. Louis (Clayton, MO), spanning about the late 1950's into the early 1980's (with a majority of projects likely from the 1960's). Archived newspaper advertisements suggest the firm was founded in about 1947 and it appears to have specialized in the construction of pre-engineered steel buildings designed by the Butler Manufacturing firm of Kansas City for clients including industrial facilities, warehouses, car dealerships, car washes, auto body shops, bowling alleys, etc...
