HOGARTH PRESS, London, 1931. Leonora Lockhart has Hand-Signed on the very first blank endpage. - CONDITION & DESCRIPTION: A beautiful facsimile dust-jacket accompanies this book. Produced from a first impression [1931] issue. It has the price of 7/6 to the spine. Housed in a plastic archival sleeve to keep it clean and in good order. - Purple cloth with gilt/gold lettering to the spine. Colour to the cloth is vibrant but the spine has faded in comparison. Few random soil marks, on the boards, otherwise a nice condition. Corners lightly bumped and cloth scuffed. The boards remain firmly attached to page block. All housed beneath the accompanying dustjacket. - Brown hue to pages, but other than this, the pages are in a really beautiful condition which is quite rare for this book. Nice overall condition for such a rare and collectable book. - There are a few pasted in images: At the front of the book, [inner front board] there is a beautiful image of Virginia Woolf when she is about 20 years old. There is also a photocopy of her famous purple signature.
