The set comprises: 'Northern Lights' (A first printing with POINT as publisher, Pratt St address present to rear end-flap and the correct number of rear blank endpapers). The BOOK is in Near Fine condition. A little pushing at the spine ends with the usual light toning to the text-block and page edges due to the paper stock used. All three wrappers are protected in removable Brodart archival protectors. All Three books have been Signed without dedication on the title pages by Philip Pullman. A ticket for the signing event accompanies these books as provenance. A Fine wrappered copy of the first printing of 'The Art Of Darkness : Staging the Philip Pullman Trilogy' accompanies this set. This was published by NT/Oberon books in 2003 and has been Signed by Philip Pullman and the author Robert Butler. Both the original and the NT alethiometers are also included within this set. Both are in Fine condition. The very scarce 'Vodka Chapter' which was the publisher's promotional pamphlet with an extract from the Amber Spyglass is in Fine condition and has been Signed by Philip Pullman to the front cover. Other ephemera include: NT 'His Dark Materials' Bookmark, Publisher's promotional postcard for 'The Amber Spyglass' and a promotional postcard for 'Once Upon A time In The North' which has been Signed by both Philip Pullman and John Lawrence (the latter's signature slightly smudged). A wonderful set of the 'Carnegie Prize Winner of Winners'. Philip Pullman's new related title 'Dust' is due out later this year and 'The Northern Lights' is currently being adapted for TV serialisation.
