Berrigan, Ted & Ron Padgett, eds
Lorenz and Ellen Gude, 1966. First edition. Foolscap format, 31 pp., mimeographed, stab-stapled covers. The 13th and final regular issue of the seminal little mag of the second generation of the New York School. This issue includes work by Joe Brainard, Ted Berrigan, William Saroyan, Dick Gallup, Pierre Reverdy, Philippe Soupault, Teresa Mitchell, Harry Matthews, Max Jacob, Kenward Elmslie, Apollinaire, Padgett et al. Covers heavily creased and toned, with a 2" long chip to upper margin of back cover, affenting neither text or image, else about very good. Sound copies of any issue of C are relatively scarce; the fragility of construction, the bulk of the issues, and the unwieldy foolscap format all contribute to their demise. [Clay & Phillips pp. 160-65]. [Attributes: First Edition]

DUBAY Petia :

DELDERFIELD, R. F. (1912-1972)
London: Hodder and Stoughton [through 1968], 1966. First Edition. First Impressions of Delderfield's two-volume elegy for the traditional, pastoral society blown apart by the First World War. Thick 8vo: 1151; 475,[3]pp. Horseman: Publisher's forest green cloth, spine stamped in gold, map end papers; dust jacket with wraparound illustration by Brian Lubrani, priced 42s. Fine, tight and square; about Fine jacket (bottom front flap corner creased). Gauntlet: Publisher's scarlet cloth, spine lettered in gold within brown title block, genealogical end papers; dust jacket with wraparound illustration by Brian Sanders, priced 35s. Fine, tight and square; about Fine jacket (top front flap corner repaired, not affecting lettering). A superlative set. All the same, I can't help feeling as if we're losing something. . . . [B]y ignoring the wri … [Click Below for Full Description]
