Mit 17 Holzschn. 187 S. Halbleinenbd. m. marmor. Deckel u. goldgepr. Rückentitel. 24x17 cm. - Ebd. leicht berieben, Vors. stärker fleckig, Titelei u. einige u. S. etw. fleckig. Credit cards accepted. ---

Leather bound covered boards, five raised spine bands, gilt titling and gilt designs on spine, 7.25x 8.5" (18cm x 21.5cm), pagination: [16], 608, [15]. Front free-endpaper is lacking, rear free-endpaper is present. Condition: Covers are worn and bowing out, but remain sturdy and quite attractive in a Harry Potter Hogwarts' Library way; EX-LIB, deaccessioned from the Pacific Theological Seminary, with its old bookplate on the front pastedown, a small shelving label on the spine, and a card pocket and "return by" sheet on the rear endpapers being the only old library marks I could find (though there may be one or two I missed); the front and rear inner hinges are split but holding very well with the 4 string bands; there is an early previous owner's label on the front pastedown "Alex Roussea", and a lovely previous owner's brief inscription at the top of the title page dated 1724 (I can't decipher the name or place); the inner pages are very nice - just some very light foxing here and there, a spot or two, a crease or two - overall tight, bright, clean and unmarked. MÜNSTER. Merian:
Frankfurt/M. Kupferstich (von 2 Platten) von Caspar Merian, 70 x 28 cm. Breitrandig, sehr gut erhalten. * Geisberg 35; Westfäl. Landesmus. Kat.
