London: Edward Arnold. 1906., 1906. First edition. Octavo, pp. xv, 376. Publisher's mid blue cloth binding with gilt titles to spine and charming gilt decoration to front. Contains two fold out maps, numerous photographic illustrations, and a chapter by Longstaff, of the Alpine Club, describing an attempt to climb Gurla Mandhata. Front map is intact but has become detached from the book, rear joint is beginning to loosen and has split the paper along the length of the gutter. Some spotting to the edges and prelims. Some bumping to the corners and to the spine along with general light wear. A fine copy.
