The brown cloth boards show a light bumping and rubbing at some corners and the spine tips. Bookplate of former owner, Harry Frederick Camp, on the inside of the front board. The hinges are good. The inside pages are bright and look unmarked. Rare account of the Confederate expatriate in Mexico. The story of Alexander Terell and other Confederate Officers who left the United States after the end of the Civil War. Served a short time in Maximilians army.
