Xmas, 1951, ink gift inscription on front free endpaper (blotted just a little onto front flap); diagonal crease to front free endpaper and following leaf; else fine. Bright green jacket has a fingernail-size chip at foot of spine with loss of some letters of the imprint; crease to lower inner corner of rear panel; shallow chip across head of spine (no lettering affected); a few edge nicks; VG otherwise, no fading, flap price intact.
