Boston: Richard G. Badger 1907 - 8vo., brown cloth lettered in gilt; top edge gilt; extremities rubbed. First edition. A presentation copy, inscribed by Thomas: "`Christmas comes but once a year?' Say not so - For well we know, I our hearts can still be found Christmas, all the year around. To Rosamond, from her friends, The two Ediths, Edith T. and Edith M. - New York, February 1908," on the front endpaper; with the recipient Rosamond Gilder's bookplate on the front pastedown. Rosamond, the author of "Enter the Actress: The First Women in the Theater," was the daughter of Richard Watson Gilder, the longtime editor of "Century Magazine," where Thomas published many of her poems. Rosamond also presided over the International Theater Institute, a worldwide organization with 65 national centers, whose co-founders included J. B. Priestley, Julian Huxley, Tyrone Guthrie, Jean-Louis Barrault and Lillian Hellman. A special presentation copy. [Attributes: First Edition; Signed Copy; Hard Cover]
